3. To verify your identity, the Membership Portal will send you an email from the Linnaean Society of New York with a unique link back to the Membership Portal. Click on the “To choose a new password go to:” link in the email. 

4. That will take you to the “Set your new password” page of the Portal.  (1) Follow the standard requirements for password creation. (2) Confirm the password. (3) Click Set new password button. 

5. As this may be your first time setting your password, Wild Apricot will ask that you accept their terms and conditions of use before continuing. Click "Home".

6. This will take you to LSNY Membership Portal's Home page.  Clicking on "Return to Main Website" will take you back to our familiar website.

7. You will soon receive another email from LSNY with detailed instructions for setting up your profile in the new online membership directory. However, if you wish to explore the current members-only submenu, Your Profile or the new online Membership Directory, you must login with your new password, as these screens of the portal, unlike our Main Website, are password-protected from the public.  Follow these three steps: (1) Click the Log In button at the top righthand corner. (2) Enter your membership email ID and new password. (3) Click the Log In button below them.  You will return to the Home Page but can now explore Your Profile or Membership Directory. However, if you select Your Profile or Membership Directory before logging in, you will be required to log in with this screen anyway, before you are automatically taken to any members-only screens.
